Problems with capture and media manager - after long wait for support to pick up the following was their response:

have you installed DirectX 9, latest net framework? downloaded 6.0a fix for Vegas 6?

That is alledged to fix problems.

We'll see. But before you wait for them to get there and then wait for pickup, you might want to try these.

rma - now day three attempting to upgrade software!

Sony's Customer Service recently reminded me, "we do not guarantee that: (a) THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, (b) YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, (c) THE SOFTWARE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, OR (d) THE SOFTWARE WILL OPERATE WITH THE HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION YOU CHOOSE."
