I've just upgraded to Vegas 6 - OK, I'm late, but I was waiting for the bugs to be ironed out in 6.0b ;-)
It's a nice progression from 5 (but I won't bore you with my thoughts on that!)
However, there's one thing I noticed immediately - there's no Keyboard shortcut for muting an event any more.
In 5.0, if you right-click on an event in the timeline, under the 'Switches' command is a Mute option - to the right of this is marked the keyboard shortcut... in this case 'Alt+\'
But in 6.0 this shortcut has disappeared, and sure enough if you try 'Alt+\' ...nothing happens.
I know everyone's working methods are different, and this may not make a jot of difference to most people, but for me it's quite a problem.
I do lots of multi-camera work, and mute split sections of events as a way of switching between cameras - I have it programmed to a button on my Shuttle Pro to speed things even more.
With this shortcut gone, it's going to increase my project times enormously (not to mention the RSI in my mouse hand).
Is this a known issue I've missed?
