Hi - quick question:
in V4, I could see the media clip names in the upper left corner of each clip on the timeline.
I'm trying V6 (because I want to try ultimate S), and so far, I see no names of media clips on the timeline, like it had in V4.
Is there something I'm missing?
(btw, per tips posted here earlier, I skipped the media manager installation in V6 altogether, so I could have a more stable platform, so far so good without it; plus having mssql installed and running is a huge memory/performance drain, I'd ran it for years when I had a voIP trading chat room, don't want to do that again... speaking from lots of experience.)
Anyways - is there a flag I'm not enabling in prefs or wherever, so I can see the name of the media clip on the timeline, as it was in V4?
I'd set up my V4 using prefs that DSE taught on his great 4-DVD set awhile back ..
(btw Spot, are you coming out with a V6 DVD set, or waiting for V7? your training's great... I was learning a lot again yesterday afternoon on your "now hear this" dvd, re noise reduction, terrific tips ...)
thx much,
ken
btw looks like a great Vegas party at NAB - wish I could've made it...
