I'm having problems with V7 and the AC3 encoder. When I go to Render As using a 5.1 Surround template, it appears to hang or at the very least it's running very slow. Drive access is sporatic and CPU usage is up there. After 10-15 mins, it's still at 0%.
Vegas 6.0d with the same project works fine and renders the whole 75 minute timeline in 10-15 mins.
I've submitted a support ticket to Sony and await their reply. Has anyone else exprienced issues with the AC3 encoder in 7.0a?
