Okay, ever since Vegas5, the solo/mute buttons on every track have behaved oddly for me. In Vegas4 and earlier, push mute and the track mutes. Push solo and the track un-mutes and solos. Push mute, and the track un-solos and mutes. Duh.
Starting with V5, things are different. Push mute, and the track mutes. Push solo, and the track un-mutes and becomes solo. So far so good. But now push mute again. The track is supposed to un-solo and mute itself. Instead, the solo button remains depressed, leaving a track that is BOTH soloed and muted!!! Hmmm...
I'm assuming this is a bug, and not a feature, right? Surely there must be a simple fix.
Someone might interject, "But the effect is the same: the track is muted regardless." But the issue is that with the solo button still engaged, none of the other tracks are allowed to play. The effect is that everything is muted.
