V8 Pro doesn't see my new monitor

Hi,
I just got a new 25" TFT monitor. I've predred an HDMI cable for it but right now I have it hooked up via VGA. I can drag the video preview over to it but I would like to get the full benefit.
Under options preview device I have windows secondary,Aja, and 1394. How can I get it to use the VGA?

If it is set up as your second monitor, secondary will do it.

Windows "identifies" it as being #2 but when I hit preview on secondary monitor in V8 it pops up on my "main display"

When you are in the PREVIEW DEVICE selection window, make sure you have your second monitor selected under the DISPLAY ADAPTER which is next to the IDENTIFY DISPLAYS button.

is your display drivers showing it's #2 or Vegas? You can have vegas use 2ndary display but still have it use display 1.

All my ATI's always got that part right. ;)
