v9 audio prob -Preference setting?

Audio sounds slightly "garbled"? when I speed up voice overs 1-4% faster.
Using V6 I never had any issues changing the speed of a voice over up to 9% faster.

Using
V9 Win7/64-bit

Anyone know of a solution to this?

Right-click on the audio clip and go to "Properties," there you can select the algorithm used for stretching the audio. Something isn't right.

Man, here are a lot more settings for stretching now.

I had to go load the vegs files used for nested parts and set all the audio to sound right.

I wish the default stretch setting was not a "crap" setting for me.
