V9 conversion not showing up in WinExpl properties

I noticed that one file I converted to V9 does not show up as a V9 file in WinExplorer properties. It stills shows File Type as Vegas Pro 8.0 .. This means I can't open it directly from Explorer nor can I tell what version it works with without opening the file.
Anyone else seeing this? .. I emailed Tech support and expect a response. Just hope it's not just me.

In fact, even a newly created V9 file is showing up in WinExplorer as a V8 file.
Bummer. I'm not going to de-install V8 to find out what goes on just yet.

It sounds like you have your file relationships for .veg still set to Vegas 8. It's a Windows issue, not Vegas.

You're right. Lost it there for a moment.
I think what it says now is "Vegas Pro" if V9 is your default for opening a .veg.
