V9 crashes hint

i've been reading up on all the folks having crash problems with V9 (which i too am experiencing somewhat) and i am coming to the conclusion that my external monitoring is contributing to this, as when i turn it off, the program stabilizes for the most part.. how many of you are using external monitors when the program freezes? how many of these are being run through 2nd graphics cards like the BM Intensity Pro? I'm just thinking there might be glitch with that connection...

Unfortunately, I'm getting crashes all the time and I have no external monitor. I think Vegas 9.0 has lots of issues. I haven't been able to notice any patterns myself.

I have to agree. To me it just looks like an early beta version rushed to production to meet a deadline.

well, i'm not one to defend v9 since i think there's a few well documented bugs in it, but having completed 2 major projects in it without a single 'crash', i can't agree to it being crash prone. (i specifically wanted to use rays and soft contrast filters on avchd material, which 8 wasn't too snappy with)

mind you, i keep my tl vegas friendly and have started to use mxf for avchd - and everything has gone smoothly enough.

yes, there are problems, and yes, i too think it was a rushed / pushed release, but i'm hoping that 9a will address the most pressing and obvious problems.....

I agree; I'm hoping that 9a puts things right, but at the moment, 9 for me is just too much like beta testing.
