V9: PLEASE update the credit roll generator.

I know that many others including myself have been begging for this since Vegas 3.0.

I also can honestly state that I have never asked for any feature to be included in Vegas that wasn't a basic feature. I have never asked for Vegas to wash the dishes or complained about Vegas not having the latest bells and whistles. Not ever. So if I ask again that you consider finally updating the credit roll generator I think it is a safe bet that no one can accuse me of always complaining about Vegas not being everything to everyone. It has been for years the same two basic requests..........the titler and the credit roll generator. I shoot stage productions. I need a credit roll for most of them. And while it is true that I have learned to deal with the less than amateur Vegas credit roll generator would you PLEASE consider updating it next year?

And thank you for updating the titler in Vegas 8.

Or even better, a simple way to copy and paste, but to retain all fonts and text layouts/formatting..

I don't really know enough about programming but wonder if JohnMeyer could make a credit roll script so you don't have to micky-mouse around with the start and finish everytime you change speed, kind of like the old Adobe Premier credit roll.

from reading the help file included with V8, protype seems to replace the credit generator too. At least with the things you can do that it says in the help file.

That's right. ProType is the updated Credit Roll generator.
