Various DVD authoring programs

I've been editing for a while now, but am just getting into DVD. I'm not at all impressed with MyDVD, and was wondering how the following programs compare in regard to both menu creation and fitting more than 1 hour onto a DVD:

Ulead
Roxio DVD Builder
Nero
Any others I may not be aware of

My main goal is to be able to fit up to 2 hours of video onto a DVD and be able to have more control over title text placement than MyDVD provides.

I use Ulead. I like it but it does not have the animation of the backgrounds and the thumbnail on the menus.
If you reduce the quality of the you will be able to fit more video on the disc.

Have a look at DVD-Lab at http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/

It has everything, but takes a bit to learn.

I am using ULead Movie Factory 2.0 SE that came with my Sony DVD burner and have never had a bad disc yet. If all you are looking for is something to take your movie and add a simple menu and chapters then burn to DVD, this should fit the bill.

However, if you want to do more along the lines of production DVDs, like add moving menus, intros, scene selections, etc. than DVD-Lab is perfect. I initially had a problem with having DVD-Lab DVDs play in other DVD players, but realize now it was me and not the software. ChristerTX is correct about the learning curve, but I was able to produce some pretty nifty DVDs before the trial period expired. As soon as I get some extra cash, I will be purchasing the product as it is truly excellent!

Thanks...
Al

My apologies to GerryLeacock. It was he who recommended DVD-Lab and mentioned about the learning curve.

Sorry Gerry...
