I checked again today and it was still not taking zips. As part of the rules, it mentions graphics and MP3's but if it doesn't accept zips then I'm curious as to how those are to be submitted.

Oh well, maybe the rules were changed and only generated media is to be used. <shrugs> I guess we won't have to worry about creating soundtracks or any special masks.

There is a problem with a block our registration ISP has for .zip files. They continually promise that this will be restored shortly, it's a virus protection they've "placed there for our benefit." It WILL be resolved shortly, even if it means me placing the zips in by hand. Sincere apologies, but it is somewhat beyond our control. However, we've manually created contest pages in the past, and we'll do it again if this isn't resolved in the next couple days.

The Contest site is now accepting .zips and veg files both.
Apologies for any inconveniences.

In the contest, I noticed there's video files zipped in the HDV projects submitted but can't read them in WinMediaPlayer. Is that normal?
So far, because I still run V5, I can't read a single entry from both DV and HDV contests...
Can't there be a WMV file attached to each entry so everybody can see the actual films? Takes too much space ? Just asking...
