Maybe try telling us what you are wanting to accomplish with it or else you will probably just be pointed to the help file to understand how it works.

DVDPrep takes the guesswork out of rendering. It uses the standard Vegas MPEG-2 and AC3 templates so you are getting the same quality as if you had rendered manually with Vegas yourself. It was written because almost every month there was a post about which templates to use to render to DVD (or worse someone used the default template and couldn’t understand why their DVD looked bad).

With DVDPrep you just select the type of DVD you want to make (NTSC, PAL or Film24p) and what format (4:3 Aspect or 16:9 Widescreen) and it uses the proper templates to get you there. It will create both a DVD Architect compliant MPEG-2 video stream and an AC3 Stereo audio stream.
