I don't think it's been out long enough for anyone to have gotten it yet but lucky me I got a chance to see it before it was offered. I'm sure with any training video it depends on someones skill set but I was personally utterly baffled by the Pro-titler. While it seems some here took to it like fish to water I just didn't get it, the keyframes and other stuff worked quite a bit different from what I was used to in Vegas so I definitely needed some hand holding. All I can say is I get it now. Really hate to sound like an infomercial but it cleared up a lot of what was frustrating the he** out of me when I was trying to figure it out on my own. Hopefully there are some things in there for the folks who have already acclimated themselves to the Pro-Titler but I can't really speak to that since I all but ignored it after many failed attempts until I watched the Vasst vid.

I bit the bullet and ordered the video. I am totally baffled by the titler and gave up. Actually I gave up on 8 went back to 7. I hope the video helps. I had very good luck in the past with educational DVDs.

Thank you both for your comments.

I'm going to throw some good money after bad and go for the dvd. I hope it's good because I need something more than a little hand holding. A full body rub would more accurately describe the situation.

All and all, just look at VASST's Record, they're on the hole ( and I mean save a couple of releases in all the titles of theirs I've seen (and that's a LOT), their products are very high quality and always worth the money spent on them so I'd say that in reality, your there's no bad money spent on a VASST training title, because there is always something that I've learned and I'm no Vegas Slouch to say the least.

I got an email form VASST that they will ship mine friday or tomorrow.

I support Dave 100% - all the DVD's I have from VASST so far both for Vegas and for cameras too is 100% worth it. They don't just state facts, they also put in some live experience, and that is great. Most people can visualize a manual, but to tell out of real experience is another thing. And as I have said before, the guys at VASST hang out here too and help us for free.

Dave,

In the words of the Judge, "Don't sell yourself short. You're a tremendous slouch!"

Sorry, couldn't resist!

Actually it was Ty that said that to the Judge.

But the judge DID say....
"The world needs ditch diggers too!"

Caddyshack or Spinal Tap, I could quote from them for hours. Glorious results of my misspent youth.

I have once again bowed to the collective wisdom of the Vegas Video Forum.

I ordered the DVD.

Thanks for what hopefully will be sound advice,

Bill
