I tried several times before finally noticing that, after each one, the box on the upper right temporarily informs me, "Sorry, that file could not be found."

Happy? Are these purely VEG files? I'm saying this as I've only got ONE of them, and that is indicated as a VEG? How are you viewing them? If it's a veg file?

And I am getting the "File not Found" again on the remaining 3.

all veg's. one has two protype events & two have one event.

when I open them in V8a I use the preview to player option to view them as they won't playback in RT on my machine.

I was able to download the magic and ping pong. Not sure why it's not working for you. It's a shame more of us didn't know about the contest. Looking at the examples and the number of entries, I think I had a fair shot.

Does anyone know of any other contests going on? Wouldn't mind a challenge or two. :)

during v5 contests I'd download the demo & use that to view entries. But if you already used the demo you're SOL. :(

don't know how v8 will cause problems by installing... my old copy of v6 (when I had it on) had no issues.
