VASST Vegas Training Roadshow - Toronto

Tom Pauncz wrote on 5/11/2004, 7:32 PM
A call to all Toronto Vegas/DVDA/Acid users. We need your support to make this event happen.

Toronto has not been on the tour list until now and if we want to keep it on the list we need to show our support.

Sorry if this sounds like an advert, but so far there have been no registrations for the June 26th date. We need at least 8 b***s for SPOT and Gary to come to our lovely city and partake of some Canadian hospitality.

Let's do it.

The original reg pages weren't set up to take Canadian zipcodes, since they contain characters instead of numbers. That's been resolved as of a couple weeks ago. We'd not anticipated taking tours into Canada when we designed the system, but between Tom and a couple of others, we've been convinced it's a good thing to do. Looking forward to coming up there!

It's still not accepting Canadian postal codes - I just tried to register and got an error message that said "a numeric zip code is required".

yea - is still not working here either ..

Guys, please try this again, I've just tried a legit postal code in toronto, and it worked...so all should be good now. Apologies for the error.
Tom Pauncz wrote on 5/13/2004, 3:03 PM
Yes, it works. I tried it too.
One note - the tel # needs to be all numeric, like 4165551212 else you'll get another red error message.

Go for it Canadians!

Special discount code - V5TO - is now in place for the Toronto roadshow stop. You could also use the Vegas community discount code COMM.

This is a great deal folks!

Nah ... just don't call us late for beer :-)

Hey, I thought COMM was the discount code. Should've used the other one?

Frank,
Both give the same discount. Thought we might like a 'personalized' one for TO. :)
