I capture a video and then produce a VCD. When i play itt on my dvd player (tv) it looks terible. looks blury, like when you look at a blownup rendered video on the computer. help
If you shoot video with today's higher resolution cameras, especially a digital camera there is no way to avoid suffering a loss in quality if you convert to a VCD. The problem is the format only supports low bitrates which means your file needs to be compressed a good deal. Using SVCD will give you somewhat better quality, trying a 2-pass render a tad more, but anything less than rendering to DVD is going to suffer. To get the best quality render 'print to tape' and play the finished video through your camera or bite the bullet and get a DVD burner.
