Please add some kind of midi support...at least let play be
started or stopper via midi...please

Dont turn Vegas into cubase, but just for the functional
stuff, MIDI support would be nice.
I am thinking of buying two cheaper digital consoles, like
mackie 8 buss so I can hands on mix my vegas projects,
support for fader packs, like the way peavey and cake have
gone, would be way better...please

Today is gonna be my 5th vegas mixed album that goes to the
mastering lab...Good work, and thanks guys!
However I DO work slower in vrgas than on console, and I
think its a lot to do with not having faders...

Aaron, I guess we all work in different ways. Upon working with
Vegas, it was the first time I actually dispeled the notion of faders
with a DAW. Being able to draw my fades with vector automation
seems "more musical" - for lack of a better description. I enjoyed
drawing in it to a specific point in the song.

As for the console issue, if you are willing to pay for 2 d8b's, take
a look at the valve console from TL Audio. I don't know what type of
music you do, or your musical tastes- but this board is very
appealing for that range. Tube in every channel, every Mix B, 8
busses and the mains. You can fit it with automation as well. Same
price range. Beautiful board. It's called the VTC. I don't know, it
seems like digital boards lack musicality. Good routers, though.

Couldn't you still use the Motor Mix by just assigning midi control
messages? Is that possible with Vegas?

Peace

Exactly...that is what I love about vegas...thats is why I think
since the d8b also has good automation control, I would like it...
I am SO hooked on the envelopes thing...just that it is a little slow
to do for albums in a quick time...also, it is impossible to grab two
faders and muscle them around...

That is a wonderful console...see Im mostly using the d8b as
faders...I have REALLY good mic pre's and compressors on the way in
to tape....but, the I/O(lack thereof) issue on the mackie is
frightening...I will think a while on the TL audio...seems the only
affordable board I actually like the sound of...take that back...the
John Oram board is cool too, for me

OK heres the REAL trick...listen up sf software writers...

Vegas would Kick Bootie SO hard...if

the volume envelopes themselves could be midi controlled and send
midi...

drawing/mousing and manually moving the faders, in this way, would be
REVOLUTIONARY!!!

please...please...this would RULE!!!
