Vegas 10.0e cannot be launched

It works fine before but suddently it cannot be launched. It stops at "loading Sync Uicore.dll". The problem is "Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005)". Is there any way to fix it?

A quick search brings up several results suggesting that this file is part of several viruses and trojans.

I suggest you have your computer professionally scanned and cleaned. The .dll is not part of any Sony installation afaik.
