Same here. In fact, 10b would not start up on my custom layout (spread out on two monitors) because I had Excalibur docked. After going back to the default layout, 10b started right up. As soon as I try to start Excalibur, 10b shuts down. Had no problems in 10a also.
My Excalibur and Ultimate pro both seemed to load fine in 10b and I am on multiple monitors, with my timeline on a 32" Lcd and Trimmer, preview, and docked media files, explorer, Ultimate pro, and excalibur on a 19" flat panel. The problem for me with excalibur is that when I try to switch tabs, it stays hung up on the one that is on the screen and won't switch to the one I'm trying to move to. I've also been getting error messages whenever i try to close a vegas project (usually after it seems to close), and wonder if it is originating from excalibur or one of the other plugs...appears to be problem with the save, as when i open it back up later, it asks if i want to recover the last project.
In re-reading this, I am realizing there is a lot going on and I think i will see if there is a later release of excalibur and try that.
There is something similar to that issue in the Video FX. If you make a custom set version of anything (a color correction you may need for a project) and save it, the new item does not appear in the icons list unless you click away to something else and then return. It does show up in the text list from the drop down box. Wonder if the two issues are related?
I did have an issue where 10.0b broke loading three of the tabs in Excalibur. I uploaded an update yesterday which resolved that issue. I posted a link both here and on my forum. I also updated the download link on the Excalibur home page. For everyone on 10.0b, you really need to download this latest versions. For everyone on 8.0a and newer, there are some new features/fixes so you may wish to go ahead and update too.
