I'm running the project of a 6TB G-Raid e-Sata drive.

I've seen tons of people on the web having the same problem. I uninstalled quicktime? Still crashed. Re-installed quicktime. Still crashed. Tried the e-sata drive internally on Sata. still crashed.
Tried it on a dual core machine thru USB and it did not crash? But could not playback well cause it being a dual core? I'm ready to do a fresh re-install and I do not know what is causing this? Been working on it for 2 days....

Your error report shows Vegas Build 511. You post says Build 682 (32 Bit). Not trying to nitpick, just looking for clues.
What was your Dynamic Ram Preview set at ?
Setting for Thumbnails on the Timeline ?
Do your crashes happen when you try to play the timeline ?

Sorry about the error.... no it was 511. The RedOne files play fine. I have 12 gigs of RAM. Preview is set to Best and Dynamic RAM I set to 2048? Originally default it was set to 200. I'm not sure what you mean settings for thumbnails on the timeline? It was default which shows the picture or Icon view.

Before doing any more detective work, I'd install the latest build - 683 for 64bit.

I was having constant crashes when I had my DPR set to 4096. Since I have 16gb of RAM, I figured I had plenty to work with. But since I set my DPR to 0, I can work for 8-10 hours with no crashes. Yesterday I was doing some detective work and set the DPR back to 4096 with Best Preview quality and within 5 mins the program crashed with an unmanaged exception 0xc0000005 when trying to playback the timeline. This was on a project that I had worked on for 8 hours with no problems at all at DPR = 0. I am running 683, but it also happened in 511.
If you are up for it, try setting your DPR to 0 and let me know what happens. Just trying to find the solution.
The thumbnails are what you see on the timeline and are set in the Preferences under the Video tab. Thumbnails to show for video event.

^ try reducing it to 2048 Meg RAM or less... i haven't had any problems in that area since lowering to 2048... zero is a little restrictive for me.

Robwood - what was your DPR set to prior to setting it back to 2048 ?

And were you also seeing the timeline crashes on playback ?

683 ?

It doesn't matter what I set my DRP to. It consistently crashes 15 minutes into editing. I am done I can't work like this then it takes a long time to reload my project. I am doing a 90 minute feature so I have a ton of REDONE clips. I'm going back to version 10. If that has problems I'm jumping to Premiere CS6...
