It has now been a straight month when I close Vegas I receive an error. This time I saved the details, any ideas?

I get that on my laptop (which will run my NewBlue plugins) but I don't get that closeout error report on my main PC, which WON'T run those plugins.

It's enough to drive you batty!

Yes it is NewBlue. I love their work but it is VERY UNSTABLE. Their font effect crashes Vegas like a coin toss.

It's a shame, NewBlue had really begun to make a name for themselves, especially among us Vegas users, for their inexpensive, friendly UI, and useful plugins. They had begun to grow quite a loyal customer base (myself included), but I'm afraid they have taken two gigantic mis-steps back and have lost all the good momentum they started.

They need to work with Vegas and get their new 3.0 GPU enhanced plugins working properly. AND they need to fix their website and take care of that "no version number listed" problem. Hopefully if they can do those two things, they might have a chance of retaining some of that customer base.

I suffer the same thing. Close out of vegas, crash. It's like a Dave Matthews' song without the good feeling. Many times I have to render out a timeline to different formats & crash without even touching the timeline. Sometimes I crash opening the render dialog box.

I get the close out error as well.
