Vegas 12 Build 770 won't start

I have been using 12 since it came out - build 770 since 11/13 (when it came out). It worked fine until today. I tried to open it & it refuses to open . Vegas 10 works fine. 12 will not open. It appears in Windows Task Manager Processes as Vegas 120.exe using 5704k of RAM, but not in Applications. Any suggestions?

Use CTRL+SHIFT while you start Vegas, this will give you a pop up message and you can reset Vegas to its defaults. This will however reset any customization you did too; Keyboard short cuts, toolbar and so on.

end the process and then see if you can open. If the process is running the app will not open.
