Finished a 30 minute project in Vegas 12 this week. Rendered it to mpg2, DVD Architect compliant, video only. The 30 minute project rendered in about 12 minutes.
Just installed Vegas 13. Made a quick, simple 7.5 minute project and rendered it to mpg2, DVD audio and video stream. Took almost 8 minutes to render. Nothing special in the project, just a few still and some video. No special effects or transitions.
I was surprised and disappointed at the time. Is this normal for 13 or is something going on here that is unusual with my system.
