Vegas 13 rendering in 4k pcm only

Hi, so my problem with sony vegas pro 13 is that when I want to render in 3840*2160 the only working formats are sony xavc. Sadly when I render in xavc the only available audio format is pcm uncompressed. When I render the video, the sound is OK in my pc, but when I upload it to youtube or vimeo it sounds like its mono or something like that. The sound is just bad. I think its because those servers support aac format only, not pcm. So my question is how to render 3840*2160 video with aac audio in sony vegas pro 13?

when i try to use other video formats to render and i choose custom size 3840*2160 i get an error and the rendering stops

thanks in advance and sorry for my bad englando

You can use MainConcept AVC. Start by selecting the 1080p internet preset, then modify to your UHD size and encrease bit rates.

Thanks, but like I said I get an error when I start rendering. Although if I render with MainConcept AVC in full hd not 4k I get no error.

That’s why so many of us use the Vegas-2-Handbrake method.

No. YouTube supports PCM just fine, and converts all media to AAC.m4a format.

The error with MC encoder is probably the profile setting, try the High profile setting in your encoding template.

I just tested this in VP13 and it worked. The key is to start from a presets which already fits some basic properties. Be sure to start from the 1080p internet preset.

I'm stupid. I chose the Blue-Ray option, not the Internet. Seems like it's working, thank you.

Well, why is the sound OK in my computer but when I upload it to Vimeo or YT it starts to sound bad? Even vimeo after uploading the video said that that the sound is mono. The PCMxAAC seemed like the only possible reason. But I'm really far from being a pro so I'm probably just wrong again ^^

Anyway thanks for the help everyone <3

- Out of phase audio can sound perfectly good in stereo but down right ugly when collapsed to mono.... cancellations, comb filtering, ect.
