I just bought Vegas 14, having used 12 quite a bit in the past. But it's unusable, as anytime I open the program, my left and right mouse buttons cease to function in any way. I have to close the program via my task manager, using nothing but the keyboard, and my mouse immediately begins to work properly as soon as I do this.

I've tried a number of things like unplugging the mouse and plugging it back in, or rebooting the computer, but the problem still occurs every time I launch the program. I've searched all over, and I can't find anybody else who has had this problem. Does anybody have any idea how I can fix it?
