Vegas 14 Movie Studio 4K Proxy Settings

I have Vegas 14 Movie Studio and while editing 4K footage is possible on my desktop, it's not smooth or consistent. I right-clicked on my video files in the Project Media window, and even though "Create Video Proxy" is an option, it seems to be greyed out. Are there any fixes to this or is it locked into the Pro version?

I see the same when I had already made that proxyfile by the setting in Options

or you made already earlier on such a file.
You are able to controle that when you go to the location of that file and search for "that name.Extension.sfvp0" file.

That makes me feel dumb. I just double checked the media folder and the .mp4.sfvp0 files are already there because I have that box checked.

Thanks!

Take also in account that those proxies are only used for smoother preview when preview is set to "draft" or "preview". The original 4k files are still used for preview when preview is set to "good" or "best". With other words, it makes no sense to make proxies and have benefits from them when preview mode is set wrong.
