I upgrades to Vegas 14 from Vegas 12. Now when I save a project, it saves it with the Vegas 12 icon. When I open the project, I have to right click and open with Vegas 14. Why is this happening?

It sounds like you are opening your projects from Windows Explorer. If so, then the default setting in Windows for .veg files is still set at VP11. To change the default program, just go to Control Panel/Programs/Default Programs/Make a file type always open in a specific program. Locate the .veg listing once the list establishes, and then use the Change Program button (top RH corner) to change the default from VP11 to VP13.
