Vegas 15: duplicating of audio track

spacedrone808 wrote on 3/25/2019, 3:03 PM

Hello, Vegas people!

I am pretty new to software, so don't laugh.

I am rendering video sequence, which contains misc vid-clips and one audio track.

On timeline everything is fine including audio, but when i render i receive two audio tracks in PCM and ACC formats with a little out-of sync, like reverb. Can't get rid of this mess.

Here is my project settings.

Tried everything. No luck at all.

Hope that i provided maximum information.

Any suggestions?

Don't know if that's influencing your out of sync problem, but you use only one audiotrack, because you switched the second off by this button:

Yes i use only one track, but in final render i've got to tracks pcm and acc, with overlapping sound.

I am pretty confused to say the least.

@spacedrone808

try a better renderer , I see you are rendering to 59.94 FPS . Try Sony AVC\MVC AVCHD or Sony XAVC\XAVC-S

Both of those templates support 59.94 . If you choose AVC\MVC it will render with Dolby Digital Audio . if you choose XAVC\XAVC-S it will render Stereo PCM audio .( PCM is going to be the best , for audio qualtiy )

AVC\MVC is more Blu-ray standard Dolby Audio only .XAVC-S can do 1920 x 1080 and UHD 3840 x 2160 PCM stereo audio only .

one more option , just to put it out there : Vegas Menu : Tools-->burn disk-->burn Blu-ray disk , will open Mastering dialogue . 59.94 is NOT available here , but it does give the most outstanding audio quality .Choose Sony AVC\MVC , choose one of the 16 Mbps codec options . Choose Sony w64 PCM audio , choose to render with 24 bit 96 khz PCM . be sure to select the radio button at the top to burn to hard drive . it will render to .iso file . mount the .iso file using windows Explorer , and find file 00000.m2ts , copy it to a convenient location and rename as needed . Also , if you ever do use this , you should also set Vegas Property settings in the Audio Tab to 24 bit 96 khz or maybe 24 bit 192 khz . cause if going to the "Tube" , Tubve re-renders all uploads . By using this ultra high quality audio , gives more data for youTube to work with . your audio will be the best on the Tube . And the video has always been really good too .

all the above options render to .m2ts

If you ever have to go Apple .mov , try Magix Pro-Res 422LT . it too is in Vegas "Render As" templates .

@spacedrone808

back to your concern about : In the final render you have two audio tracks ( PCM and ACC ) ?

explain to us . How many Audio Time Lines do you have ? From your picture , you show 1 Audio Track . so where is the second Audio Track ?

a Vegas Project can have 5 audio Time lines . When rendering to PCM Stereo , the video will contain 1 PCM stereo track , all 5 Time Line tracks mix-down to just 1 Stereo track . ( you aren't using 5.1 project ) .

if your template codec is set to use AAC stereo , the rendered video will have 1 AAC stereo audio track . your source project Time Line could have a PCM , AAC , .mp3 audio , When rendering to a Stereo template codec , you will end up with 1 mixed-down Stereo AAC audio track . No other outcomes can occure , unless you are doing a 5.1 ( 6 channel ) audio project .

I could do this : 1 stereo audio track is on the time line , the project is set to stereo . In the render Template , I might be able to choose 6 channels of audio or maybe 4 channels of audio . Yes , then that will render to multiple audio tracks in the video . those extra tracks in the video may be a repeat or will be Silence\blank .

Your render template is a custom template .. Do you get this same problem with one of the standard templates?

Actually, the more I think about this what are the properties of your audio source?
