Vegas 17 Video Goes Black while editting and rendering

Just got Vegas Pro 17 a couple of days ago and I've started to notice what seems to be an annoying bug. Randomly while editing a video, the video preview will quit and go black and will also render a black screen starting on the frame the video preview decides to quit. The only work around is to cut out and paste the video portion back in and even then it seems like it's not a guarantee this fixes the problem.

My System:
Windows 10 64 bit
Intel(R)Core i3 - 4150CPU 3.50 GHz

16GB RAM

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4400

Do you have any recommendations for an upgrade?

You are able to scroll down that list on that Vegas site, where also the GPU needs are listed.
You have to follow at least the minimum specs and better is to go a bit higher.
