Do you use Dynamic ram preview? ie prerender clips from timeline to ram via the Tools menu?, if not then you will have better stability by setting this to 0 and have more ram for Vegas to use. Is the So4 file created but empty or just not present?
V18 uses a utility at start up to generate this file which contains details about your CPU & GPU it then updates the internal menu with values to reflect what hardware to use. If this file is missing (happened with me on V18 initial release) you see no GPU hardware. I understood that this would be fixed in the latest update. You can try and change the entry in the internal menu for which hardware So4compoundplug to use to 1 (it is likely to be set at 0 if no hardware detected) this is likely to allow V18 to see & use your GPU. let me know if this is the case.

Is your GPU being used on timeline playback (seen in task manager GPU decoding box)? Also is Hardware decoder for So4 compound reader set to 4? Also preferred opencl Device vendor 7 name set to Nvidia Corporation?

So4 compound reader set to 4 - The problem is solved! The GPU is active
This will be the case until the So4hardware file is created. The forum moderators may be able to ask the Vegas developers about if v373 has the fix included.
You have also a very good Intel GPU, the Intell 630. Probably you did not allow it to show up in the BIOS. Since I did that all went better and faster unless the newest driverversion for that GPU is installed

rendering with NVenc works fine
😫
How u able to have GPU Acceleration & Dynamic Ram Preview both enable simultaneously? If I have both enable the preview will flickering & turn into black screen

No. Only CPU.
Do you have a folder in C: \ users \ username \ AppData \ Local \ Magix \ FileIO \ 1.0 \ So4HardwareDetectionOutput.xml?
Can you send it to me? I'll try to use it for myself.
Tried to send the file to you via PM but had to change .xml to .jpg for it to accept it. You may need to change where it says 1080ti to 970 and the CPU info will not match yours.

OK so you do need it. the default 200MB is set I would think to cover two 4K clips 80mb x2 plus a transition. How many clips and effects are you previewing from the timeline? If I need to preview I select a region and render to a file and view/compare that.
I just deleted the So4hardwaredetect file and V18 373 created a new version in the correct file location so it is working correctly - at least on my system.

I get 38 frames of cache working with 2000mb ram cache with project currently working on 4096x2048. That is 1 clip checking transition. 200mb default was probably meant for 720P or even 480
