VEGAS 18 is crashing when I click Render As

Hello! I have been able to render videos in the past, but now it is no longer working due to "KERNELBASE.dll"

This is very frustrating because I can use the program just fine until I click Render As, and it will shut down. Without a way to render, my creations are kind of useless... Are there any solutions?

Build 284 was the original build of Vegas Pro 18 and was followed by 4 updates. On opening Vegas Pro 18 each and every time, you should be getting an unavoidable update window, so its a tad curious that you haven't updated Vegas Pro 18 to the latest version over the last 18 months or so. The best way to get the update is to go to the My Products listing on your MAGIX My Account, download the Vegas Pro 18 installer and then install Vegas Pro 18 via that installer. Updates fix many problems found in earlier builds, and that may apply to your situation.

Your Vegas Pro 18 appears to be many updates behind. Update to the last build 527 here https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-18-update-5-build-527--129047/

Or download it from your Magix account.

Yes. Original builds of an old Vegas Pro version/build are commonly indicative of having come from a questionable source because that questionable source usually only offers Vegas Pro's original build - possibly for free or for a cost that doesn't pass on to MAGIX or any of its authorised resellers.

If the OP has a version of Vegas Pro 18 bought from MAGIX or an authorised reseller, it is very curious that the update procedure hasn't been actioned by the OP due to the infernal update nags that appear when opening a non-updated version of Vegas Pro.
