Vegas 2.0 - export project

I use Vegas 2.0 and I am trying to get my video project out of Vegas and onto MiniDV. I know VV2 does not have print to tape from timeline as VV3 does. I use a Sony TRV-900 & a JVC GRDVL-805U MiniDV CamCorder with FireWire.

The only connections my computer has is: 2monitors & 1 S-Video / 1394 / USB
Is there any other way to get this project to MiniDv so that I may duplicate it?

(Also, does S-Video transfer Video & Audio -- or just Video? If I use the "View on External Moniter" with my camera hooked up via S-Video, do you think it would record the project? Audio & Video?

With Vegas version 2:

Render the project as avi using the DV template.

Print that file to tape with the Video Capture tool that comes with Vegas.

Make your dubs from the DV tape master.
