Vegas 2.0 Woes

I am running a PIII 733 133fsb 256 pc133 ram, Quantum
Fireball 7200 ata66, Aopen AGP 8meg vid card, win98SE.

Everything was running fine until......

One day I woke up and opened vegas and it started
performing illegal operations and kernel.dll page faults.
Recording was latent and would play back with skips if I
moved the mouse.

The only changes that happened to my computer is this:

Purchased a 20' monitor and changed video display settings
from 800x600 to 1200x768. Transfered contents of a second
IDE drive to my primary and removed my 2nd ide drive.

I am thinking of reloading my entire OS. Any ideas?
Please!!!

Thanks!

Do a fresh install of everything.Format C!
Sounds like vid driver probs.
Also when back up make sure to check your dma settings for your
drives.Put a check mark in if not checked and restart.
Cheers.:-)
