I was using Vegas 20 on the subscription perfectly happy for ages but decided to upgrade to 21.

After upgrading when Im trying to edit a video Vegas freezes constantly and I get the wait for the program to respond messages but have to kill it in the end. I have upgraded my video drivers played around with using proxy files to try and fix it but nothing works.

I was using templates from Vegas 20 and thought perhaps that was the problem so started with a fresh 21 template but still the issue persists. It seems ok to start with when working with 1-5 video files but when I add more source media it then starts to crash. Now my latest project freezes as soon as the software opens. Media is from a DJI Osmo pocket 3 at 4k 60 FPS, as I said this all worked perfect fine on Vegas 20 but 21 just doesnt work.

I have also disabled GPU from the menu but that also doesnt fix the problem.

Im now about to bin it all off and try Adobe instead as had enough of this.

AMD Ryzen 5 3600x processor

32 gig RAM

Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070 Super
