Hi there,
I've just installed VV3 which constantly crashes.
Here's my set-up:

Win P professional
AMD 1800+
1 x 40 gig system drive
2 x 40 gig video drives
1/2 gig ram
The programme is on the system drive and all projects, renders etc. on the other drives.

The programme starts fine and plays back video from the timeline to the preview window. As soon as it meets a cross fade it locks up the whole machine and I need to re-start.
