I've been using Vegas 2.0, TMPGenc to encode to Mpeg, BitRate to analyze Mpeg files, and SpruceUp to author DVDs.
I was delighted that Vegas 3.0 had a better encoder so I wouldn't need to use a stand-alone encoder. I bought it immediately and it does seem to quickly and beautifully encode files. But, I'm now working on my first DVD with 3.0 and I find that when I create a full DVD size file, the Mpeg file it creates can not be read by either BitRate or SpruceUp. Bitrate complains the TProgressBar limit has been exceeded and SpruceUp says the system header information is invalid and the file may be corrupted. Bitrate can read small files, but SpruceUp can't.
Has anyone asuccessfully created an Mpeg-2 file with Vegas 3.0 and burnt it onto DVD? Did you have to tweak any of the encoder settings? If so, what did you change?
Thanks in advance.
