Actually, it snaps to 128th notes with the grid spacing set to 32nd notes. You just have to zoom in really close. I've used this resolution for really tight sawtooth wave sounding drum fills and things. Video will snap to this resolution also, except that you won't see anything beyond 32nd notes due to the frame rate.

ive been putting the cusor on the beat then snapping to the cursor.
still havent gotten snapping by zooming in close on 32nd notes.

Each vertical line represents a 32nd note, which is what the snap was set to. You can see a note a bit longer than a 32nd note, 4 64th notes, and then 8 128th notes. They all snap into place. Wheel mice are the best to use for zooming in aswell.
