I tried to buy one and the site said they were sold out and not accepting orders at present. Maybe they want to avoid more situations like yours??

STOP!!!!!!

Don't get it from them. It is totally unuseable!! The manual has a wire spine and it is not heavy enough or big enough to contain the 300 some odd pages of the manual. I recieved mine last week and am now trying to get a refund. They knew this was a problem existed and shipped it out anyway!!!

On a similar note, I ordered SPOT's book over a month ago from Amazon and still haven't received it. Anyone get one of those?

The best and cheapest way to get the Vegas or the Vegas + DVD manual is to just take the PDF file to your local copy store and have them print it and bind it, it will be a lot cheaper.

I downloaded my pcf and took it to office max and they bound it witha nice strong binder with clear strong cover and heavey black back for $28.00

I sent mine to office max over the internet, they screwed up my order, I complained and in the end I got it for free :)

Ah, thanks. I didn't realize that. I guess I'll be patient :)

I also took the PDF to OfficeMax (CopyMax) and paid around $29 including a cover, back and spiral binding. It took them about 1 hour to produce.
