Have you patched it to version 4.0e ?

If not, then download the patch and try again.

Thanks. I tried the patch but am still recieving the same message. The program seems to work fine, however, so maybe it is not a big deal.

Interesting. I did a search of my system, and there is no "MSVCR70D.dll" file. Leads me to think it has nothing, directly, to do with Vegas.

Per-chance, have you installed the Premiere Pro demo and then uninstalled it?
BarnoldWHV wrote on 3/13/2004, 4:30 PM
Yes, actually I did. Did you experience this same problem?

No but I've read that others have and have experience the same problem. I believe it was mentioned on this forum so you may want to try a search here to find the solution that was discussed. Apparently Premiere Pro doesn't clean up after itself well when uninstalled.

There are alot of things Premiere Pro doesn't do very well, but thats another discussion altogether. Thanks for all the help.
