Vegas 4.0 vs Vegas Pro

I am a primer Video Maker.
I use Vegas 4.0 because is fast, and easy but wwhat about Vegas Pro?
Is better than Vegas 4.0 or what ? Anybody is using this version?

Vegas PRO is old!!!! It was sort of a supplemental add-on to the original Vegas 1. I'm not sure that it even handles video at all.
