Vegas 4 record/narration with Audigy2 and ASIO pref

I have upgraded to V4 and I am having a problem with recording voice.

I have selected SB Audigy ASIO as the Audio Device and all the 5.1 audio works great.

The problem I have is recording voice overs from my microphone. The default audio recording setting in prefs is Analogue Mix L/Analogue Mix R, this setting does not record any audio via the mic. I have tried every setting available in the drop down box but none of them will record from the mic.

If I change to the Microsoft Sound Mapper it will record fine.

Any ideas on what is going wrong?

Are ASIO drivers available for the AudigyPlatinum2? I heard they wouldn't be out for a few more months.

Are you plugged into front mic input?

I am using the Audigy2 not the Audigy2 Platinum with the front panel.

My mic is plugged into the card itself. The only option I get for mic is line 2/Mic 2, sounds like this refer to the Platinum front panel.
