Hi,
Story: WindowsXP moved drive C to F when I installed IEEE1394 disk, I didn't notice and I install Forge, Vegas, CD-architect, Premiere, Nero, etc...
Then I repaired WIndows XP to move it back to C: and I desinstalled all the software that didn't work, as you can imagine.
Now I got problem with Vegas. I cleaned the Registry with all those F: entries and changed the F to a C. Everything is working fine finally except VEGAS who's stuck in the splash screen even after 3 installation-desinstalation and use 100% of one of the two CPU of the machine.
I don't know what to do next or where to look.
I Used Symantec WinDoctor to fix what is wrong in Windows like bad links, ActiveX, or whatever could stay with the F drive.
Vegas still stuck in splash screen.
Any clue ? Please help, Obi Wan Kenobi.
