Vegas 4 vs Vegas 5 render speeds

Is Vegas 5 going to Render faster than Vegas 4 (when using the same settings).

I realise there is network rendering, but I am just asking about single machine rendering.

Does it handle "Pre-Renders" any better? Is it more intelligent in this regard?

You can try it. The mpeg-2 encoder is in the trial. :)

I ran the render test & got the exact times for V4 & V5 (using all default settings).

I'd be interested to see the test comparison to Vegas 4 and Vegas 5 using the network rendering.
