Using Vegas 5. Been more than a year since been to the forum. Am not a pro, but have used Vegas since V3 and enjoy it. But, get a brain bleep more often now. Between event clips, I used automatic crossfades for the video. Then select a special transition now and then so drag it up into place. At times, I find the new transition replaces all the crossfades up to clips which are NOT overlapped. Recently I used the same technique and every crossfade to the end of the timeline changed, including those events overlapping after a break infront of it. Unfortunately I did not notice for awhile and went merrily along. I could not duplicate this back to get back to crossfades and so had to manually change every transition as I came to them through the project. Tried select events to end. My events are grouped with the audio, then overlapped when I load them. I see more software out there to use, but thought if the software did it one direction, it ought to be able to it again. I am getting old, but Vegas is still major cool for home videos. I searhed the forum for 45 minutes and gave up. Thanks
