Vegas 5 Error

When I start up Vegas 5.0a I get an error that says "An error occured starting Vegas. The reason for the error could not be determined." The program does not crash after you select "OK", it continues to work normally. Anyone have this problem or know the problem this it is causing and how to fix it?

Sounds like you have Fast User Switching disabled on WinXP. This is harmless, but if you are annoyed by seeing the error message box every time you run Vegas, here's the fix noted in the Knowledge Base:

Launching the software reports 'An error occured starting *PROGRAMNAME*. The reason for the error could not be determined'.
