Vegas 5 No Scripts Working

Just got off the phone with sony support. They can't help on this as they say I must inquire here for help with scripts. Strange to me, but anyway. I"m in my 2nd week with the upgrade.

Vegas 3 or 4 was never on this machine. Vegas 5 Trial was on for 1 week with about 2-4 hours of goofing around. Probably didn't try scripts though.

Have Vegas 5, XP Pro, Dual HPxw8000 dual xeon, 512mb ram, 12 scsi hard drvies (10 striped together as one drive for uncompressed work), firewire built in, nvidia, sp1......

I have Vegas installed on my F:\programs\sony etc..... , not my c drive.

Problem, No scripts will run. They run on my xp home laptop, but not on my office machine. I have run export regions for sub titles at home, but can't get it to run here.
Various errors for different scripts talking about error.

The subtitles scripts error is

"an error occured during execution of the script f:\program files\sony\vegas 5.0\script menu\export regions as subtitles.js

an unexpecter error has occured.

All scripts have sony.vegas: in the file. Not the problem.

I had no unexpected results during install.

I have no idea what to look for next. Every other program runs fine. Vegas 5 and DVD authoring run fine except for I can't get scritps to run.

Thank you to any one who might be able to help.......

Frustrated, but not down and out.

Just a stab in the dark here, but have you downloaded the latest version of Microsoft's dot Net framework?

Thanks. It says I have 1.1 loaded, but re-installing .net solved the problem. I installed from the same installer as orig, but who knows.

I thought maybe cause I installed as admin, but ran under user "editor" that might have cause it, but no. So I reinstalled and all is well.

Thanks for the hint. You are my new best friend.
