what format were these loop files?

Threw it for a loop!
busterkeaton wrote on 2/16/2006, 5:17 PM
These were wav files taken from the Sony Loop Euphoria 2006 cd.
I was dragging them from the cd at the time.

Not helpful.

But funny.

I'll give it 7.5

I've been using Vegas for years with NEVER a crash of any kind... until today.

I installed 6.0d and did a thirty-minute, two-camera edit using Ultimate-S v2.1.2. I've done this exact type of thing a zillion times before without a hitch. When I go to render the project as a standard DV .AVI file, it crashes at the end of the render with the error message below. The render completes and the file seems to be fine, but it crashes nonetheless. It displays the error message and as soon as I hit OK, Vegas closes.

I found the issue.

I dragged on the loops to my hard drive and stil got the same issue.

Two sets of loops caused Vegas to crash. The Altockrums and Prototechno loops caused Vegas to crash. I was able to create a Vegas project with the other 530 and even drag all 530 to the timeline without a crash.

I was able to drag these into Acid without a crash.

I was having a similar issue with crashing (at various points every time) in my mpeg render as well. My solution (thanks to Customer Service) was to set my render threads to something other than 1.
