I too get an error message when using Wax with V6. But - if you click through the error, it will still function to some degree. I'm only a Wax experimenter at this point, so I'm not certain what I'm missing.

Satish?

You're not missing much. It's been up before--and Wax is after it. I'll just be patient, I love the transitions. Darryl

FYI - I just got an email today stating Debugmode Wax 2.0e has just been released with added support for Vegas 6.

Wax Update

Hello
I’ve already downloaded the new version. But I have one problem: how can I stabilize video using DeShaker when I apply Wax as a plug-in to Vegas? I don’t understand how to perform / render (or what you might call it) Pass1 and Pass2 in DeShaker! Can anyone specify exactly which commands / steps that are necessary?

FYI - I just tried running Wax 2.0e in Vegas 6b (with NET Framework installed) and am getting the following prompt:
"Unble to find video event length. If you are running Vegas 4 or above, please check if you can run scripts because Wax needs that ability."

Any suggestions?

DUH...I found another thread on this topic on the Debug site...and found that I just needed to enable the "dummy media" mode in Wax. Seems to be working fine now.

CRAP! This buggah NO WORK! It crashes my program all the time! I even put that 'dummy' mode on. What's going on? John Meyer, how do you get yours to work so well?

Any VirtualDub plugins which need a 2-pass processing does only work in VirtualDub itself, not in Wax.

If it crashes it will automatically create two error report files into you c-folder. Sent these two files to Satish Kumar. I'm pretty sure he will find the reason for the crash and probably will have a fix.

where's the 'c-folder' located?

I meant partition "c:". It should be the main partition on your system. ;-)
