Vegas 6 Demo with Vegas 5?

Hi,
I have Vegas 5+DVD and I would like to consider upgrading to Vegas 6/DVDA3. Does anyone know if it is safe to install the demo versions on my machine? Will it upgrade/corrupt my legitimate v5 install so that when it expires I'll have problems running v5? Or should it be okay?

No problems here. I've always installed the demo of the next version and still run the old version along side it, sometimes for months.

I have it on my laptop and desktop...no problems at all. Even copied my scripts from V5 to V6 and they work fine.

Well installing the Vegas 6 demo won't Vegas 5, but good luck getting Vegas 6 to run in demo mode. Since you've already been running Vegas 5 for some time now, you are very likely to get a message saying that your trial period is over before you even try version 6 the first time.
